About the founder

As most great things - it all started with a spur of the moment idea. Sheree was just another Australian who was fed up with drinking gross toxic tap water full of chemicals like Chlorine and Fluoride that were damaging her health. 

The next logical alternative is buying and using regular single-use plastic water bottles that had better water, but at a cost - they polluted the planet and harmed wildlife. She knew there had to be a better way to hydrate without harming your health, drinking inferior water or harming the environment. 

The Pura Tropic's Solution:

Seeing a clear problem, Sheree decided to start her own filtered stainless steel water bottle company, Pura Tropics. It seemed like an almost impossible task at first; creating the perfect stainless steel water bottle with a high-tech filter that could get rid of all those nasty toxins in regular tap water while still being stylish enough for people to want it. 

But thanks to hard work and lots of extensive research, Sheree eventually created exactly what she set out to do: the ultimate healthy filtration system that allowed users to enjoy clean, great tasting water on-the-go.
